After a hot summer and a few weeks rest, the month of September finds me back to daily striper fishing on Lake Texoma. Sorry for the delay in posting a new report, been extremely busy as the striper fishing on Lake Texoma this past two week has been outstanding. Our Lake Texoma stripers have been making morning runs like clockwork. Although you can catch these fast moving stripers on live bait, I prefer to use slabs, 1 1/2 and 2 ounce white and chartreusse Lorens Slabs and we find large schools of stripers working the surface top water . . .

Striper fishing on Lake Texoma the first part of July as started out extremely good. We are finding large schools of stripers working the surface in open water and also in the shallows early in the morning. This sure makes for easy pickings. We have been using "Pencil Poppers" and "Chug Bugs" to catch the top water stripers we have found.

Fishing for stripped bass on Lake Texoma the past week has been outstanding. At this time I am are still fishing live bait (Threadfin Shad) and am back to anchor fishing. I'm fishing the ledges of the creek channels and the main river channel. The stripers have moved a little deeper since my last report. We are now fishing in 40-55 feet of water.

Another week of fantastic Lake Texoma striper fishing since my last report has been fantastic. The current lake level is at 618.04 with a water temperature of 75 degrees. The water is still alittle off color. I?m fishing both morning and afternoon trips with excellent results. I am fishing live bait (threadfin shad) while mainly on anchor. in depths, anywhere from 15-45 feet of water. I'm still have been concentrating on humps, ditches and ledges. . . .
